I found an old leak of a GiT build, is it safe to download?

It has recently come to our attention that there are numerous supposed “Leaked Builds” of Galaxy in Turmoil floating around the internet. After tracking down a few of these “leaked builds”, our security team has discovered various hidden malware within the contained files. The malware contained within these files may be extremely harmful to your computer, as well as may greatly put your personal information such as your passwords and bank account information at risk.  All of the leaked builds contain previously official released test versions of Galaxy in Turmoil, thus making the builds not actually leaked.

It is advised that if you have one of these “leaked builds” in your possession, that you remove any and all of the files associated with the build and run a virus scan on your computer. We suggest only downloading Galaxy in Turmoil builds that come directly from Frontwire Studios.

How do I know if I have a legitimate build or not?

All official builds will be released on our web site (Frontwirestudios.com) with various links posted on our homepage and other areas of our web site. In addition, all builds will only be available to be download via the following URL(s):

  • cdn.frontwirestudios.com
  • release.frontwirestudios.com
  • beta.frontwirestudios.com

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding these leaked builds, please feel free to contact us.
